A chitinous creature crawled on me,
I asked it why, it drawled "You'll see"
Flapping it's wings and flicking it's feet
Bowing it's head in time to the beat
I pestered the pest, poked my arm
Others buzzed at a speed that spread alarm
With a blink it bounded, this Beelzebub
I knew then their lives, born from grub
So lifting my limb, I looked at it true
It ignored me completely, spewing bilious glue
Then sucking up slime back into it's snout
I asked it for wisdom, my face a pout
It bombarded my brain then bounded off
What nature taught me, I dare not scoff
The sight of a spider spurns it on to it's Fate
We all care not, our hunger must sate.
