A slow step, the yawning chasm beyond reaches upwards.
Invisible entities strive for contact,
Intentions unclear

I brace my soul, walk on
Through ice and fire
Struggle to regulate and balance
the flow surrounding me.

Whispers flutter through me,
Goading, coaxing
I feel my aura reflect and react
Mirroring, magnifying
Polarities coalesce
The end and beginning of all things.

The slightest step between
Annihilation and oblivion,
Completion and unification.
I refocus,
The eternal choice before me.

For a life spanning moment,
I am deified.
Encompassing the bridge of null
The urge to recreate myself
Grows strong
Yet I am still imperfect

Perhaps this time the flaws shall be corrected?
As I too have been altered
Cold and calculating.
Logic overriding empathy
The succeeding rebirth
A rekindling of humanity

With the eye of the mind,
I spark
Elements mix,
Dividing the Chaos brings Order.
Every possibility defined by causality
Resolved since birth

Each option and choice programmed,
Free will determined.
I place my child in it's perfect environment,
A tranquil environment,
Where it shall want for nothing.

Remembering my own beginning
I add succulent fruit, and a warning.
